Does merging reduce video quality?
No, not when your clips already share the same codec, resolution and frame rate — they are joined by copying the original streams, so the merged file is frame-for-frame identical to your sources. Only clips that genuinely differ are re-encoded, and that happens at a near-lossless quality setting.
Can I merge videos with different resolutions?
Yes. Smaller clips are scaled up to the largest frame in the batch and letterboxed to keep their shape, so nothing is stretched or cropped. Clips without sound get silent audio so the merged file stays in sync.
How many videos can I join?
Up to 200 clips in one go. Clips are processed one at a time rather than all at once, so long batches — 10, 20, 50 files — merge without overloading your browser. The practical ceiling is your device's memory: about 2 GB of video in a single batch. For more than that, merge in two batches and then merge the two results — that second join is lossless and instant.
Do the clips stay in order?
Yes. They are joined strictly top to bottom, exactly as numbered in the list: clip 1, then clip 2, then clip 3, and so on. Files added together are sorted by name automatically, so video2 comes before video10 rather than after it.
