The Pomodoro Rhythm

Work in a focused 25-minute sprint, then rest for 5 minutes. After four sprints, take a longer 15-minute break to recharge before the next cycle.

Your durations and completed count are saved locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded — the timer works entirely offline.

How the Pomodoro Timer Works

1

Pick a mode

Choose Focus (25 min), Short Break (5 min) or Long Break (15 min) using the tabs. The countdown resets to that mode’s duration.

2

Start the timer

Press Start to begin the countdown. Work without distraction until the timer reaches zero, then take the break it suggests.

3

Repeat and track

After four completed focus sessions, take a long break. The counter tracks how many pomodoros you have finished today.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Pomodoro Technique?+

The Pomodoro Technique is a time-management method that breaks work into focused 25-minute intervals called "pomodoros," separated by short 5-minute breaks. After four pomodoros you take a longer 15-minute break. It helps maintain concentration and prevent burnout.

Is this online Pomodoro timer free?+

Yes. The Convert Fleet Pomodoro Timer is completely free with no sign-up, no ads, and no limits. You can run unlimited focus sessions and breaks directly in your browser.

Can I change the 25, 5 and 15 minute durations?+

Yes. Open the Settings panel to set custom durations in minutes for the Focus, Short Break and Long Break modes. Your preferences are saved in your browser so they persist between visits.

Will it make a sound when a session ends?+

Yes. When a session completes the timer plays a short beep using the Web Audio API and shows a notification. The sound is generated locally, so it works offline and requires no audio files.

Is my data sent to a server?+

No. Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your settings and completed-session count are stored locally with localStorage and never leave your device.
